-The Merchant of Venice po słowach : three thousands ducats
-Beowulf: Demon, thanes
-The knight's tale: generalnie to był opis świątyni marsa
-The dream if the rood- Lamb, cross

"Weland knew fully affliction and woe
Hero unflinching enduring distress;
Had for companionship heart-break and longing,
Wintry exile and anguish of soul,
When Nithad bound him, the better man,
Constrained him with sinewy bonds"
"Of sun nor moon they had no need,
The self God was their lamp and light ;
The Lamb their lantern was in deed,
By Him the borough glistened bright. "
""She was a pretty creature, fair and tender … - weasel's body, softly slender … black as sloes … - more truly blissful sight to see she was than blossom on a cherry-tree. … lecherous eye."
"Then from his slumber he starts lonely-hearted,
Beholding gray stretches of tossing sea.
Sea-birds bathing, with wings outspread,
While hailstorms darken, and driving snow."
kolejny fragment był ze słowami " 3000dukatów" więc nie przepisywałam go, bo było to tak oczywiste ze to "Merchant of Venice" że aż szkoda było pisać:P
"The demon delayed not, but quickly clutched A sleeping thane in his swift assault, Tore him
in pieces, bit through the bones, Gulped the blood, and gobbled the
flesh, Greedily gorged on the lifeless corpse,"
""It was long ago -- I remember it still -- that I was hewn down at the wood's edge, taken from my stump. ... I might have felled all foes, but I stood fast."

Mma pytanie i będę wdzieczna jeśli ktoś mi sensownie odpowie. W miniony poniedziałek i we wtorek pisaliśmy to kolokwium zaliczeniowe z literatury. Teraz mam dylemat.
